Do You Have a One Night Stand or a Long Term Relationship With Your Clients?

Are you so focused on just getting new clients in the door or is your goal to really try to create a true experience for   them? I’m going to let you in on a little secret that is the key to not just getting them through door, but will actually keeping your clients coming back for more.

In the corporate world, it’s called “Experiential Marketing”. I’m sure you’re all too familiar with the food samplers at grocery stores or the fragrance testers at the department stores. There are so many new and evolving strategies in the experiential marketing field that it would blow your mind. Did you know that there are actually fragrances that diffuse the scent of fresh baked bread as you enter your grocery store?

The real objective of experiential marketing is less about brand awareness, and more about creating an emotional connection and driving interaction in a sensory way.

You can apply this same strategy to your Holistic Therapy Practice quite easily, without spending a dime simply by focusing on your clients’ complete experience so that they keep coming back for more. This is actually not as complicated for a Holistic Therapist as you might think. All you need to do is ask yourself these questions to help develop your own experiential marketing strategy:

  • How do you want your client to feel when they walk into your treatment room?
  • Is the color scheme inviting, welcoming, calming, and comfortable?
  • Is the music and scent relaxing and calming?  Is it subtle and pleasant?

Strive to create a relaxing environment that best complements the range of holistic treatments you offer. The stress relieving benefits of the therapies you provide should be reflected and provided in a worry-free and chatter-free oasis.

Extend this sentiment to your business cards, website, flyers, and internet presence as well by creating an enchanting experience for all your current and potential clients. By doing this, you will form long term relationships with your clients and keep them coming back again and again.
